Tzu Chi Great Love Preschool aims to provide a holistic education with a strong emphasis on character building and the teaching of independent living skills. A SPARK-certified childcare centre, the preschool offers a bilingual learning environment where young children are instilled with the values of gratitude, respect, and love for all life.

Basic living skills are fundamental to early childhood education. We teach children various self-help skills and give them ample opportunities to practise these skills in daily life.

We provide healthy, delicious vegetarian lunch and snacks prepared according to the early childhood nutrition guidelines of the Health Promotion Board.

Elle Anya Choo: My Mandarin has improved, and now I can even read out Jing Si Aphorisms!
Anya is a bright and cheerful little girl whose family of four has recently returned to Singapore from overseas. At the start of theschool year, Anya, who typically communicates in English, felt quite shy about speaking Mandarin in school.

Han Fei: I come to school happily every day!
When Han Fei first arrived at Great Love Preschool at the age of two, he was overwhelmed by the unfamiliar environment and surrounded by unfamiliar faces. Feeling insecure, he cried loudly, calling for his mother, which ached the hearts of the teachers.

Cleo: I will eat all the green vegetables!
Like many children, Cleo doesn’t enjoy eating vegetables. Sometimes, when she found vegetables she disliked in her bowl, she would cry and seek comfort from her grandma. Faced with Cleo’s reluctance, the kindergarten teacher devised various approaches to accompany and gently guide her.
